What Is an RSS Reader?
An RSS reader is a small software program that collects and displays RSS feeds that you can scan as headline text in a central location
Where Can I Get an RSS Reader?
Latest versions of Firefox and Safari Browsers have built in RSS readers. For other browsers, you can install one of a variety of RSS readers available. The ones below are both popular and free while others are available for purchase.
How Do I Use RSS Feeds?
Follow the directions of your Reader. In general, this is how they work:-
- Click on the link or small XML button near the feed you want.
- From your web browser's address bar, copy the URL's web address and paste that URL into the "Add New Channel" section of the reader.
- The RSS feed will start to display and regularly update the headlines for you.
